Not only is nursing expected to grow at twice the rate of other industries, it also offers a much better work-life balance than other industries in healthcare.
According to a recent infographic by Maryville University, the average registered nurse works 42 hours per week. This is in stark contrast to the average doctor who works 52 hours per week.
